About Armoured Trucks
Welcome to UpArmouredTrucks.com, the premier source for information on purchasing armoured trucks. We offer three main types of armoured trucks depending on the required armouring application. Armoured cash trucks (also known as cash vans, bank trucks, money transports, bullion vans, or cash-in-transit trucks) are used for transporting cash or valuables between businesses and/or banks. We offer a wide variety of armoured trucks for cash transport and we can custom build nearly any make or model to our clients' specifications. Two common armoured cash trucks we produce are based on the Ford F-550 Chassis and the Ford E-350 Chassis.
However, we can also produce armoured cash trucks based on a variety of other commerical chassis (e.g., Chevrolet, Freightliner, Dodge, Renault, etc.). Each one of our armoured cash trucks is engineered with the saftey of the drivers in mind, and offers a specialized armoured drop chute to protect valuables even if the vehicle is under attack.
In addition to armoured cash trucks, we also offer armoured SWAT trucks for police and military applications. Armoured SWAT trucks are built on a heavy-duty chassis and the entire body of each truck iis built from scratch.
Generally, armoured SWAT trucks are built to European Level B6/B7 standards and offer superior protection in crisis or hostage situations. Our armoured SWAT trucks have been used all over the world by government officials, police forces, and security agencies to defeat terrorist threats and keep personnel safe even in dangerous situations.
In addition to cash and SWAT trucks, we also offer armoured passenger trucks (armoured SUVs, armoured pickup trucks, etc.) that provide our clients with superior protection and a low profile.
While our cash trucks and SWAT trucks are typically built using ultra-high-grade ballistic steel, our armoured passenger trucks are built using a combination of steel and high-end composite armours. The minimizes the amount of weight we add to an armoured truck and in turn results in longer lasting vehicles that perform extremely well over time. While we have standard armoured truck specifications, all of our armoured trucks can be built custom to our clients specifications.
